The Maverick K1 is the newest addition to our lineup of high-performance racing kayaks. Drawing inspiration from the success of our Odyssey model, the Maverick brings a fresh blend of speed and stability to the water.

We set out with a clear mission: create a kayak that's fast yet steady, with a deck that comfortably fits paddlers' feet and shoes. The boat needed to handle fast flowing rivers like the 'Fish' and the 'Umkomaas' without attracting to much windage or bobbing like a cork . And of course, the most important part, it had to look great.

After careful design and testing, we believe we have released a model that accomplishes all the above. The Maverick is built to perform and ideally suited to paddlers from 70-90kg. Although the high seamline allows for paddlers of heavier weights, the sleek cockpit limits usability to slim individuals.
